Mi Villa Tinto is Bodegas Perica’s flagship young wine, made from Tempranillo (85%) y Garnacha Tinta (15%) from the estate’s own vineyards in Rodezno-Bañares and Torremontalbo, in the Rioja Alta. It is produced using the traditional method of carbonic maceration or whole bunches, in temperature-controlled (24–26 °C) truncated cone-shaped stainless steel tanks, a method that brings out the purest fruit expression of the grapes without the need for barrel ageing.
