Production process
The grapes are harvested in boxes and always at the optimum moment to guarantee perfect alcoholic and phenolic ripening. These grapes are selected twice before entering the winery, first in the field, where only the perfect bunches are harvested, and then the grapes are sieved in the winery. Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 24 hours. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in truncated cone-shaped stainless steel tanks. Ageing in French and American oak barrels for 8-10 months and subsequent transfer to bottle, where it will remain for the appropriate time in order to achieve its full refinement and roundness, before being released onto the market.
Flavour and texture
Medium-deep ruby-red colour. The nose is intense with lots of red fruit, such as strawberry and raspberry, with a hint of mint on the nose making it fresh on entry. The nuances of its contact with wood are also present with hints of vanilla, nutmeg and chocolate. The palate is sweet, medium-bodied, with hints of vanilla, coffee and dried fruit. Persistent and balanced, with an acidity that gives it liveliness and youth.
